Want YOUR manuscript published by America's premiere urban press? Urban City Publishing presents it first contest.
How to enter:
- Submit any single chapter of your finished or unfinished manuscript, fiction, non-fiction, or poetry, to jjustice@urbancitypublishing.com. Be sure to use the words "Contest Entry" in the subject line of your email along with the type of entry (i.e. "Fiction", "Non-Fiction" or "Poetry").
- There is a one-time $ 25 entry fee. It can be paid by going to the PayPal link below (or mailed-in, below). Please include PayPal confirmation # when making submission. If you are not a winner, do not worry. Your entry fee will be applied to any services rendered by Urban City Publishing, which includes graphics, editing, publishing, marketing and all services related to turning your manuscript into the next page-turner. - Alternative payment method: Send $ 25 check or money order to Urban City Publishing, 20027 Stratford Rd., Detroit, MI 48221. Please note: the manuscript must still be emailed using .PDF or MS Word formats. See complete rules here ...
- Submissions will be accepted between July 30, 2010 and September 30, 2010. The First, Second and Third-Place winners will be announced on November 30, 2010. See complete rules here ...
- Winner categories:
- First Place, Grand Prize Winner: book published by Urban City Publishing, LLC, and framable certificate of Grand Prize status.
- Second Place: Framable certificate of Second-Place status.
- Third Place: Framable certificate of Third-Place status.
